Students Carmo Henriques and Henrique Didelet awarded at the 8th Oeiras Piano Competition
The Oeiras Piano Competition presents itself as an opportunity for young pianists to perform before a jury of national and international renown.
Between June 20th and 22nd, the 8th Oeiras Piano Competition took place. The contestants were evaluated by a jury chaired by Alberto Urroz and composed of Tiago Nunes, Ana Telles, Youngho Park, Rodrigo Teixeira, and Lígia Madeira.
The student Carmo Henriques, from the class of professor Joana Shumova, won the 1st Prize ex-aequo in Category B1. In the same category, the student Henrique Didelet, from the class of professor Ricardo Coelho, received an Honorable Mention.
We congratulate our students Carmo Henriques and Henrique Didelet, as well as their respective teachers, Joana Shumova and Ricardo Coelho, for the excellent results achieved.
