Student Carmo Henriques is awarded an honorable mention at the Santa Cecília Piano Festival Junior Competition, 2026
Between July 14th and 18th, the Junior Competition took place, integrated into the renowned Santa Cecília Piano Festival.
In this 2026 edition, the young contestants were evaluated by a jury of international prestige, chaired by Luís Costa and composed of Elena Font, Francesca Vidal, Hélder Entrudo, Michail Markov, Mitsuru Yamakawa, Stefan Bonev, and Tatiana Vetrinskaya.
The student Carmo Henriques, from the class of professor Joana Shumova, received an Honorable Mention in Category D.
We extend our congratulations to the student Carmo Henriques and her teacher Joana Shumova for this achievement and for the work developed.
