Between June 24 and July 1, 2026, we will host a Flute Masterclass with Prof. Berten D'Hollander at our Conservatory. Group sessions, individual lessons, sessions with piano, and flute orchestra. Not to be missed!

Flute Masterclass | Prof. Berten D'Hollander | Summer 2026

Flutist Berten D'Hollander will be back in Loulé in the summer of 2026 and will share moments of great learning with all those interested, in a Flute Masterclass. It will take place at the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado, over 5 days, between June 24 and July 1. [see registration form below]

"This will not be your average masterclass..." It includes:

  • Group warm-up and technique sessions (every day);
  • Individual lessons - each participating student will have two individual lessons;
  • In addition to the classes with Prof. D’Hollander, students will also have the opportunity to work individually with the accompanying pianist Anna Granik;
  • Flute orchestra with a performance on the last day.

No one is left out: All Auditors will also be able to participate in the group sessions and the flute orchestra!

With a three-day break between classes, students will be able to take the opportunity to practice aplying the teacher's instructions and develop their work before the next class. With more time for implementation, we will have a much greater potential for progress! Enjoy!


Berten D'Hollander

Dr. Berten D'Hollander is a Belgian concert flutist and flute professor, a laureate of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and internationally known for his highly regarded performances and masterclasses. He holds a Doctorate in Music, having obtained the First Prize in music theory, flute, and chamber music, possesses a pedagogy diploma from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, and a Diplôme Supérieur in flute. His career spans 30 years of performing in orchestras, chamber groups, as a soloist, and as a flute professor. Currently, he has eight CDs to his credit.

Anna Granik

Anna Granik is an international reference as a collaborative pianist. With stints at the Academies of Budapest and Zagreb, she regularly collaborates with renowned soloists and in elite competitions. Her prestige in this field culminated in 2019, when she won the award for best collaborative pianist at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition, consolidating her fundamental role in supporting world-class musicians.
