CML-FR String Orchestra hosts students from the RCO conducting class for an Exclusive Rehearsal
The CML-FR String Orchestra participated in a conducting masterclass with students from the Royal College of Music, in a partnership with the Orquestra do Algarve.
Within the scope of the cooperation protocol between the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado and the Orquestra do Algarve, the String Orchestra had the privilege of receiving, on May 20th, a visit and guidance from two students from the conducting class of the prestigious Royal College of Music in London.
The joint rehearsal, with young conductors Giuseppe Stillitano (Italy) and Yi-Chuan Chen (Taiwan), turned into a true practical masterclass, providing our students with a highly productive and dynamic artistic experience. This experience allowed for the exploration of new interpretation dynamics, technical rigor, and group cohesion.
Partnerships of this nature reinforce the Conservatory's commitment to connecting specialized music education to the professional landscape, motivating students and opening horizons for their artistic future.
We thank the Orquestra do Algarve and the guest conductors for their generosity and sharing of knowledge!
