Arina Shumova wins 1st Prize at the International Competition in Covilhã
Student Arina Shumova awarded 1st Prize at the VI International Competition for Young Talents in Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion - Covilhã.
The VI International Competition for Young Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Talents - Covilhã 2026 recently took place.
In this edition of the competition, the student Arina Shumova, from the 3rd A class, had an excellent participation by being awarded the 1st Prize in the Children's Category. As part of this prestigious recognition, the young instrumentalist will perform as a soloist with the Banda da Covilhã, in a concert scheduled for the beginning of 2027.
We extend our greatest congratulations to the student Arina Shumova and to the teacher Inês Nunes for this magnificent achievement and for all the work and dedication developed.
