Recorder Ensembles at the last concert of the XXVI EMAL-FR
Closing concert of the 26th edition of the EMAL-FR with the joint participation of the Loulé Recorder Ensemble and the Jetse Academie Ensemble (BE)
This weekend, the CML-FR hosted, through the ERASMUS+ program, the Recorder Ensemble from the Jetse Academie (Brussels), directed by professor Katelijne Lanneau.
Together with the Loulé Recorder Ensemble, directed by teacher Ana Figueiras, they performed a concert at the Church of São Sebastião, in Boliqueime, on October 31st, as part of the XXVI Loulé Early Music Meeting – Francisco Rosado.
The event brought together 26 flautists on stage, in a musical journey through the vast repertoire for consorts and recorder orchestras, from the Renaissance to the 21st century.
This confluence of cultures, languages, and experiences provided our students with a unique opportunity for contact with new repertoires, different schools, and learning dynamics, in an enriching encounter of musical sharing and discovery.
A true success and a memorable experience for everyone!
