CML-FR Accordion students awarded at the 2026 Alcobaça Competition
Many congratulations to students Maya Veit Souza and Apolo Pereira, from the Accordion class of prof. Vítor Mira, for their excellent performance at the 2026 Alcobaça Competition.
The 29th National Trophy / 10th International Accordion Competition took place last weekend, May 23rd and 24th, in the city of Alcobaça - a competition included in the 29th International Accordion Week “Alcobaça 2026”, with the participation of students from the Accordion class of the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado.
During this event, several activities were held for Accordion students and teachers, such as Masterclasses, Yoga for musicians, and diverse Accordion concerts spread across different locations in the city.
Our students achieved the following results:
CATEGORY A - BEGINNER CONVERTER 1:
- Maya Veit Souza: 1st place in the 29th National Trophy and 1st place in the 10th International Competition
VITORINO MATONO AWARD CATEGORY:
- Apolo Pereira: 3rd place in the 29th National Trophy and 3rd place in the 10th International Competition
CATEGORY E - JUVENILE CONCERTO (BB):
- Apolo Pereira: 4th place in the 29th National Trophy and 4th place in the 10th International Competition
