Gabriel Shumov doubly awarded at the IX Gilberta Paiva National Music Competition

It is with great satisfaction that we share with our community that the saxophone student Gabriel Shumov won the 1st Prize in the Soloist Category - Level III, at the IX Gilberta Paiva National Music Competition, held on June 6, 2026. 

Gabriel also won the 2026 Gilberta Paiva Prize, for the best interpretation, awarded following the Laureates' Concert, which took place at the Auditorium of the Academia de Música de Santa Maria da Feira.

We also leave a note of congratulation to Professor Carlos Ramalho for the work developed and constant guidance.
