"Coro das Seis" performs at the Choir Meeting in Tavira
The Coro das Seis, a community project of the Conservatório de Loulé, participated in the Choir Meeting in Tavira, promoting artistic sharing in the Algarve region.
Last Saturday, May 23rd, the Coro das Seis was present at the Choir Meeting, in a shared concert that took place at 7:30 PM at the Igreja Matriz in Luz de Tavira. The event was organized by the Associação Multiplicar Silêncios, which is the promoting entity of the Coro Jubilate Deo, based in Tavira. The cultural meeting had as its main purpose to promote artistic sharing between different choral groups from various areas of the Algarve. Through this cooperation, the initiative sought to foster cultural exchange and boost the appreciation of choral practice among the public, gathering in its program the confirmation of several groups, including international choirs.
A Sharing and Community Project
The Coro das Seis is a project of the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado that is characterized by being entirely open to the community. Under the direction of professor Tiago Horta, the group performed in this musical act with a contingent of about 35 members. The acceptance of the invitation was received with great honor.
