On June 16th, at 5:00 PM, at the Cineteatro Louletano, the Laureates' Concert of the 4th edition of the Francisco Rosado Internal Competition took place.
It was possible to hear all the first-prize winners in their respective competition categories (from A to E and Chamber Music), with the other laureates also appearing on stage to receive their diplomas and the prize kindly offered by the municipality: a voucher that grants free access to all programming at Cineteatro Louletano until 31/12/2024.
For the first time, as a result of a protocol established between the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado and the Orquestra do Algarve, students from the most advanced levels (D and E) had the opportunity to apply for the "Orquestra do Algarve" award, an award that allows the winner to perform as a soloist with the Orchestra itself. In this 4th edition, the winner was student Simão Viegas, from the 12th year, flute, who will have the opportunity to perform Jacques Ibert's concerto. The "Orquestra do Algarve" award was presented by its Executive Director, João Parrilha.
