On October 26th, Professor André Conde was at the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado to lead a Trombone Masterclass. Initially, a group session took place, where warm-up exercises and basic structure exercises were performed. After this, individual sessions began. It was a day full of learning and sharing among peers from the Trombone class. We thank Professor André Conde for his presence!
André Conde holds a degree in Trombone from the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra, a Master's in Orchestral Performance from the University of the Arts Zurich, and from the same institution, also a Master's in Specialized Performance – Soloist. He also holds a PhD from the University of Évora in Music and Musicology.
As a musician, he attended Masterclasses with some of the most prestigious trombonists worldwide and joined various national and international orchestras as a guest: Zürich Opernhaus; Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra; Tonhalle Orchester Zürich; Orquestra Gullbenkian; Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto; among others.
André Conde also performs regularly as a soloist, both in the interpretation of Early Music and Romantic Period repertoire, as well as repertoire related to interpretation and composition in the field of Contemporary Music and Digital Art.
Is a professor at the University of Évora.
