The Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado (CML-FR) is hosting, from the beginning of this week until next Wednesday, a delegation from the Conservatorio Profesional de Música "Antonio Viñuales Gracia", from Huesca, Spain. This enriching initiative takes place under an ERASMUS+ Project, reinforcing our institution's continuous commitment to promote internationalization, cultural dialogue, and the sharing of teaching methodologies.
The visiting group is composed of 20 students and 4 teachers who have been experiencing days of intense immersion in our conservatory and in the city of Loulé. While the Spanish teachers are participating in the Job Shadowing modality — observing the school's dynamics and promoting a fruitful exchange of pedagogical experiences that strengthens the educational projects of both institutions —, the young musicians joined the students of CML-FR in a schedule of joint classes and rehearsals.
All this teamwork, dedication, and joint commitment culminated in a very special moment: the Crescendo Cycle concert, which took place yesterday, Saturday, February 21st, at 11:30 AM, at the Solar da Música Nova Auditorium.
As the partner conservatory made a point of highlighting, this event was much more than a concert; it was the result of hours of rehearsal and musical dialogue, reminding everyone present that music is, above all, an encounter and a shared construction. The stage of Solar da Música Nova was proof that true learning happens when one shares, listens to others, and works as a team.
This type of cross-border collaboration has proven essential for the artistic and personal growth of students. It allows them to broaden their vision, learn from other teachers, adapt to new group dynamics, and feel that they are part of a much wider European musical community.
Similar to previous mobilities, this reception for the Huesca school leaves positive marks on the journey of all involved, cementing the cultural ties between Portugal and Spain. The CML-FR thanks the dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity of all involved. We continue to grow... together. We are ERASMUS+!
