A masterclass on “Learning to Practice”, led by Belgian professor and flutist Bart Spanhove, took place on December 12th and 13th. In this masterclass, organized by CML-FR with the support of Flautística - Associação de Flautas de Bisel do Algarve, students had the opportunity to discover creative and motivating strategies to reach their full potential in studying and regularly practicing their instrument. They learned that a repetition is never just a repetition and the importance of practicing from memory. They also had the opportunity to discover the beauty of improvisation and experience fun group practices. May more opportunities come that inspire us to play more and better! Thanks to Professor Bart Spanhove for his wisdom and dedication.
