On February 18th, the Department of Plucked Strings promoted a significant initiative for our students: a Guitar Masterclass led by the prestigious guitarist and pedagogue Miguel Matos.
The activity proved to be a true asset for our school community, providing an environment of sharing and high academic rigor. Throughout the day, the students had the unique opportunity to work directly with an internationally acclaimed musician, awarded in renowned competitions (such as the Baltic Guitar Festival and the Prémio Jovens Músicos) and trained at elite institutions, such as Mozarteum University in Salzburg and ESMUC in Barcelona.
The Plucked Strings Department highlights the importance of these moments of contact with references from the current musical landscape, such as Professor Miguel Matos, reinforcing our school's commitment to promoting artistic excellence and the continuous motivation of its students. Congratulations to all participants for the dedication and quality demonstrated!
