Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado and Algarve Orchestra sign collaboration protocol

On November 8, the Director of the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado, Sérgio Leite, and the Executive Director of the Orquestra do Algarve, João Parrilha, met at the Conservatory's facilities to celebrate a long-desired protocol.

Given that both institutions play a prominent role in the field of music, this protocol will manifest itself not only through the enhancement of synergies, but also in the artistic and cultural development of the region.

The protocol arises because both institutions believe that this partnership can enrich the musical education of our young people, also promoting the connection between the academic reality (Conservatório) and the professional world (orchestra), thus strengthening the training provided to our students.

Some of the potential ideas (some of which are already in the pipeline) could materialize through the implementation of joint educational projects, joint performative presentations (with the integration of Conservatory students - solo and/or tutti), student exchanges, among others.

The moment was further marked and embellished by the performance of our piano student (4th year, introductory level), Carmo Henriques.
