Between February 12 and 13, professors Fernando Ponte and Rui Mourinho, from the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado, traveled to Vigo (Spain), under the Erasmus+ program, for a Job Shadowing mobility.
The host institution was the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Vigo, where the Algarve teachers were able to observe closely the reality of specialized artistic education in Galicia. During this period, the Loulé delegation had the opportunity to follow the daily school life, focusing on observing classroom dynamics and the pedagogical organization of the Spanish institution.
This Job Shadowing experience allowed the teachers to explore new methodologies where direct contact with their Galician counterparts enabled the analysis of different teaching strategies and pedagogical tools. The sharing of good practices contributed to the deepening of skills aiming at innovation in the learning context of students in Loulé.
The visit also served to strengthen the ties between the conservatories of Loulé and Vigo, opening doors for future partnerships and collaborative projects involving the school communities of both countries.
Participation in these international initiatives reaffirms the strategic commitment of the Conservatório de Música de Loulé - Francisco Rosado to the continuous professional development of its teaching staff. By promoting the exchange of knowledge through the Erasmus+ programme, the institution reinforces its commitment to excellence and to the modernization of the educational service provided to its students.
