A native of São Vitor, Braga, he began his studies at the age of 10, completing the 8th grade of music at the CML-FR in the class of Professor João Mogo. Throughout his journey, he attended masterclasses with great trumpeters of national and international renown, such as Carlos Leite, Matthias Höfs, Guido Segers, Gábor Tarkövi, Matilda Loyd, Sérgio Pacheco, among others. In April 2026, he collaborated with the Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa and the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in the production of Richard Wagner's Opera Tannhäuser in the role of soloist B, trumpet. He recently completed his training at the University of Évora under the guidance of Professor Pedro Monteiro.
These were years of much discovery, effort, and evolution, both on the trumpet and in my personal life. The CML-FR enabled me to work with exceptional teachers who were always ready to help me and guide me on my journey. For me, it was the beginning of my love for the world of music.
