📍 Current Path
A native of Vila Real de Santo António, Simão Viegas was born on June 21, 2006, and began his musical studies in 2014 at the Conservatório de Vila Real de Santo António. His desire to become a musician led him to move to Loulé at just 15 years old, where he enrolled in the Secondary Music Course at the Conservatório de Música de Loulé – Francisco Rosado, in the flute class of professor João Lourenço. Currently, he is completing a Bachelor's degree in Music at the Universidade do Minho, in the class of professor Gil Magalhães.
The Conservatório de Loulé allowed me to study music at a high level of quality, with access to quality study rooms, facilities in excellent condition, excellent accompanist pianists, friendly staff, motivating colleagues, and teachers always ready to help. Thanks to the Conservatório de Loulé, and very much thanks to professor João Lourenço, I had the opportunity to be on stage and study my instrument, for which I will always be grateful and which allowed me to become the musician I am today.
